FAQ & Reviews
Everything you need to know about ID Spot - and why our customers love it!
What will ID Spot stick to? ID Spot is created with a unique adhesive which will stick to almost every surface. It will stick to paper, plastic, glass or any other hard surface. It is meant to be permanent but can be removed with water if used on glasses.
Where can I use ID Spot? ID Spot can be used anywhere from wine parties, sporting events, kids parties, around the house, in the office, pre-schools, weddings, event venues, camping, and so many more!
Is ID Spot reusable? ID Spot is meant to be for one use only. It is personally identified by the unique mark that a person would make on its surface. If necessary, and once marked, it could be removed and reapplied to another surface but it might stick variably.
Can ID Spot be used on other items? ID Spot can be used on anything. Medication bottles can be identified. Containers of leftovers in the fridge can be labeled with the date. Boxes on a shelf can be identified. Literally any item which one would want to personalize would benefit from ID Spot.
Can ID Spot be removed from glass? Although ID Spot is meant to be applied to disposable objects, it can be applied to glass. Wine glasses can be identified with the sticker and then used all evening. When washing the glasses, water will easily cause the label to come off without leaving any residual on the surface.
Will ID Spot stick to a wet can? ID Spot will stick to a cold can but not a wet can. Yet, if you wish to apply it to a cold can simply wipe off the wet area and then stick to the cold can. It will then work and stick until the can is empty.
Is ID Spot easy to use? Yes! Simply mark the surface with your unique design or initial, and then peel off the stick and apply it to the desired surface. One can mark the label easily with one’s own fingernail, or any sharp object that might be available. Many often take a fine object and make elaborate doodles on the label before applying.
Is ID Spot cost effective for parties? Yes, ID Spot is very inexpensive to use. It does not require a marker of any sort. And for wine glasses, it can be used as an alternative to clip on wine glass stem charms. 24 stickers are on one sheet and the package contains 2 sheets. For the inexpensive cost (compared to other items) many objects can be identified.
What will mark ID Spot? Any sharp object will mark ID Spot. Because you always have your fingernail available, this is an easy and readily available object to use. Other objects that would mark ID Spot can include a paper clip, toothpick, fork, knife or any other utensil, key, or even a ball point pen.
If I have a pen, why do I need ID Spot to mark the container? The tip of a ballpoint pen will easily create a mark on the label which can then be applied to a can or glass. But a pen will not create a mark on a glass or metal can. Paper containers, like juice boxes, often have a glossy surface which would render the ballpoint pen unable to mark the juice box.
What are the other benefits of using ID Spot? Because ID Spot identifies one’s own glass, it prevents one from drinking from another’s glass. With this you are eliminating the possibility of ingesting others germs by this selection error. In addition, if you are hosting a party it will eliminate your guests from just getting another drink if they can't identify their first one.
But don't just take our word for it - see what others are saying!
